Aurora, sweetly singing, awakens the whippers-in who are asleep on the grass.

In their midst is Lyciscas, to whom they then shout: "Come, come; get up! Quick, get up! What is the matter, Lyciscas? What! You are snoring still! You, who promised to outstrip Aurora? come, get up, get up, quick! Everything must be prepared for the hunting-match. Get up, quickly, get up! Make haste, get up!"

With the painter's signature in the plate, with additional contributions by etcher, F. L. Kirkpatrick.
