The Art of The Works of Moliére 28. The Rogueries of Scapin  A collection of eleven engravings, including the Title of 1671 and other works in the definitive state by Maurice Leloir and Edmond Hedouin.
The collection is provided with complete provenance dating to its issue of 1895 (including original issuance certificate), the collection title page, a separate list of engravings and certificate of authenticity.
Rogueries of Scapin: Title - On top of the frame formed of branches, on a thick cushion, sits Scapin, the personification of insolence and glorying in his triumph. At his feet lie two foxes, the emblems of cunning.
